FishEthogroup, based in Portugal, is dedicated to research and training in the well-being of animals in aquaculture and fisheries. Recognized for its concrete impact on legislation, their technical reports are discussed in the European Parliament, and they provide official recommendations to the European Commission.
Aquacultores.pt, representing the Aquaculture sector in Portugal, is an association that includes producers responsible for over 90% of national production. Its mission is to promote and represent the sector, acting as a bridge between the scientific community, businesses, and the market.
We believe that the entry of these two partners will bring invaluable contributions to the progress of our work and the development of an even more sustainable Aquaculture.
