Marine Invertebrates Researcher

Ana Catarina Braga, PhD in Marine Science, Technology and Management (2021) from Aveiro University, was a team member of the Portuguese Monitoring Program for Marine Biotoxins at IPMA. Her areas of interest are related to the physiological adaptations and strategies for fish and shellfish survival to biotoxins exposure. Biotoxin effects on bivalves and fish; their uptake, biotransformation and depuration processes, and the impact of climate changes in these processes and effects.
