Joana Rosa

Joana Rosa holds a degree in Biochemistry and a PhD in Molecular Biology. Her research has been multidisciplinary and focused on deciphering a wide range of questions related to fish development and on the quest for innovative compounds beneficial for fish health. As an assistant researcher at the S2AQUAcoLAB she is implementing the use of in vivo fish models and in vitro screening systems to accelerate aquaculture research towards more sustainable and organic practices and to develop new products and services for the sector.
