Sandra Ramos is a researcher with expertise in reproduction within aquaculture species, encompassing reproductive physiology and manipulation, gamete quality assessment and cryopreservation, as well as artificial fertilization techniques. She holds a BSc in Environmental Biology, a Master’s degree, and a PhD in Aquaculture. Her current role at S2AQUAcoLAB involves investigating factors influencing the reproductive outcomes of species significant to aquaculture, spanning both fish and invertebrates. Additionally, she focuses on developing broodstock management protocols aimed at enhancing reproductive performance and offspring quality, thereby ensuring higher aquaculture productivity.
